The details
We have developed unrivalled technical expertise in manufacturing a broad selection of closure types, incorporating features such as flip tops with live hinges, dosing and dispensing, child resistance closures (CRC), tamper evidence (TE), induction heat seal wadding, and multi-part assembly.
Commonly used materials include homopolymer and copolymer PP, LLDPE, HDPE. All of which are recyclable.
Robinson first started to injection mould lids for the iconic smarties tubes in the 1950s so we have a long-standing heritage in designing and producing closures!
Product examples
Food packaging such as flip-top spice caps, dispensing caps for salt, herbs and spices, sauce dispensers. Homecare includes 2-part spouted CRCs for toilet cleaner, dosing caps for laundry care, wide mouth screwcaps, over caps for plastic, tin plate and paperboard cans, tamper-evident closures for jerry cans and detergent bottles, and specialist actuators for personal care and home care.
