Positioned for growth
Robinson plc is an AIM-listed manufacturer specialising in custom packaging with technical and value-added solutions for food and consumer product hygiene, safety, protection, and convenience; going above and beyond to create a sustainable future for our people and our planet. Our main activity is in injection and blow moulded plastic packaging and rigid paperboard luxury packaging, operating within the food and beverage, homecare, beauty and personal care, and luxury gift sectors. We provide products and services to major players in the fast-moving consumer goods market including McBride, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, SC Johnson and Unilever.
Our strong and reliable market position and financial performance come from our continued investments in competitive capabilities and in expanding our operations across the UK, and Northern and Central Europe.
The industries in which we operate face a number of challenges. They need to develop and maintain brands that meet ever-changing consumer needs, that incorporate the latest in innovative design and that champion a forward-thinking approach to sustainability; all in the most commercially astute way. We are particularly well placed to benefit from sustainable growth opportunities presented by a growing demand for sustainable packaging, and our expertise in bringing concepts to manufacturing and commercial reality.
Headquartered in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, our 180-year-old business is now a pan-European operation with 3 plants in the UK, 2 in Poland and a recently acquired plant in Denmark, Schela Plast. Schela Plast specialises in the design and manufacture of plastic blow moulded containers, serving a number of the major FMCG brands in Denmark and neighbouring countries. We currently employ nearly 400 people. The Robinson Group also has a substantial property portfolio with development potential.
