Fortnum & Mason
Beautiful sustainable boxes produced for high-end retailer Fortnum & Mason
Fortnum and Mason is one of the most iconic stores located in Piccadilly Circus, London. With a rich history and a reputation for producing high-end luxury goods, customers travel from far and wide to purchase some of the most sort after products. Being a UK-based company, it was important for them to find a local supplier that could help to deliver on its sustainability credentials while maintaining quality and aesthetic appeal.
Luxury and sustainable, the perfect partners
We produced two different sized boxes that have been embellished with gold blocking to add a luxurious, high-end appeal. Marrying luxury with sustainability, the boxes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paperboard and can be widely recycled once used. The packaging also includes two cushion pads to protect the iced fingers in transport and on retail shelves.
The boxes have been printed using Fortnum and Mason’s traditional and elegant eaudenil colour palette and to meet their standards we carried out substrate tests to ensure the packaging exactly matched the brand requirements.
An agile partner
Our paperboard factory is located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK, strategically located centrally to remain competitively agile while reducing transportation times and carbon emissions. Fortnum and Mason can take advantage of fast turnaround times from receipt of artwork to the creation of finished goods in just 3-4 weeks.
We have been in production for over 150 years, from this we have significant knowledge and expertise; that’s why we work with some of the world’s leading brands to create their most impactful and appealing packaging.
