Induction heat-sealed (IHS) lining adds a hermetic seal to plastic containers such as bottles, tubs, containers and pots

Where requested, this innovative wad or liner is added to our closures and lids as part of the manufacturing process. Wads can be printed to communicate product information and branding.

IHS lining offers a number of key benefits:

• It gives absolute certainty that any tampering or damage is clearly evident. Once the seal has been broken, it cannot be repaired.
• It prevents leakages which can be costly to the manufacturer.
• The IHS wad material has CO₂ and O₂ barrier properties and therefore retains product freshness for longer

It’s a feature that’s particularly popular with our food, chemicals and pharmaceutical customers.
