We employ Autodesk Moldflow® as simulation software for high-end plastic injection moulding. It allows our engineers and analysts to predict how the material will flow in the mould, helping them to improve plastic part design, injection mould design and manufacturing processes. Ensuring the design of your plastic component has been optimised for efficient moulding is a critical part of our quality assurance processes. Our engineers run plastic moulding simulations to predict potential defects in part designs. By viewing polymer path lines we can revise the injection gate position to avoid sinkage and other surface defects. We can also analyse coolant flow, shrinkage, and warpage, and refine our tool design accordingly.
