Robinson to showcase ‘New for 24’ range at Food and Consumer Pack Exhibition

Chesterfield, UK – September 2024 – Robinson – the manufacturer specialising in value-added custom packaging – will be showcasing its new plastic and paperboard range of products in London at the Food and Consumer Pack exhibition at Excel this month.

Being a purpose-led business, Robinson specialises in custom packaging with technical and value-added solutions for food and consumer product hygiene, safety, protection, and convenience, going above and beyond to create a sustainable future for their people and the planet.

The Company has seen massive growth in a wide range of innovative new products in 2024 showcasing its agility in creating packaging solutions to fit the individual and challenging needs of its customers from initial concept to market.

On the stand are two new products  including Putty Party – www.puttypals.co.uk – a perfect collaboration that led to the creation of the perfect jar for the fun sensory product, and the unique reusable branded drinks cups for www.stackcup.co.uk.

Robinson Paperbox Packaging are back up and running and going from strength to strength since the devastating floods in 2023. With 3 automated box machines in house, they offer bespoke solutions for Beauty and Cosmetics, Confectionery and promotional products. Robinson Paperbox will be showcasing a range of products from Beauty gift packaging to Luxurious advent calendars.

Robinson’s main activity is in injection and blow moulded plastic packaging and rigid paperboard luxury packaging, operating within the food and beverage, homecare, personal care and beauty, and luxury gift sectors. Robinson provides products and services to major players in the fast-moving consumer goods market including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser and NEOM; headquartered in Chesterfield, UK, Robinson has five plants across the UK, Poland and Denmark.

Robinson partners with some of the world’s most luxurious brands, from concept to commercialisation, creating sustainable packaging made from up to 100% post-consumer recycled material, which is widely recyclable.

The company has also invested more than half a million pounds in state-of-the-art SATE machinery for its UK Paperbox business based in Chesterfield. It offers huge advantages to customers in terms of capacity, production, and quality of the finished product.

Robinson works with Holdsworth chocolates – sustainable packaging being a collective goal for both companies, NEOM and Biscuiteers and all these will be on display at the show.

It is estimated that Robinson, on average, save customers 12 weeks of lead time by sourcing in the UK in comparison to the Far East.

Not only do Robinson offer improved agility of supply with reduced lead times but it has also been accredited by the FSC on its paperboard products, a key element of the Robinson sustainability plan.

FSC certification ensures that all products produced at Paperbox are sustainable. FSC-managed forests help provide clean air and water by restricting hazardous chemicals and following strict harvesting and forestry practices. Their work also helps ensure a diversity of animals, trees and plants as well as providing safe working conditions for everyone involved.
