Angela Doyle is a finalist in two categories of the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards

Our Business Development Manager Angela Doyle has been announced as a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement Award and Sales & Business Development Leader – Manufacturers, Converters and Producers categories of the inaugural Women in Packaging Excellence Awards, organised by Packaging News.

“We are very proud that our Business Development Manager Angela Doyle is a finalist in two categories of these important awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in the packaging industry,” says Robinson Chief Executive Officer John Melia, who was appointed as CEO in December 2024, having previously been Director of Strategy at DS Smith Recycling.

“The awards had over 580 nominations, so making the shortlist not once but twice, is a massive achievement in itself. Congratulations to all the other finalists, and we now eagerly await the awards dinner at Hilton Bankside, London on Thursday 10th July.”

Putting the spotlight on the important role of women in the packaging industry

“I’m delighted to have been nominated for two categories in these high-profile awards and a little shocked to be a finalist,” says Angela Doyle. “To be a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement category feels a pinnacle of a long career the packaging industry of over 45 years, joining Robinson in March 2023, from Berry Plastics and previously Constantia Group, and recognition for my work in Sales and Business Development is very special”.
