Leading environmental experts from the Water Works Interdisciplinary Research Cluster (WIREs) at the University of Nottingham have outlined why we should put an end to trashing plastic.

While plastic waste is certainly an issue, its prominence in the press undoubtedly overshadows greater threats to the environment.  With the current passion against plastics, might companies be rushing for plastic alternatives that have a more detrimental effect on our environment?
