Robinson help launch Poland’s first chilled soup range

Robinson Packaging in Lodz, Poland recently teamed up with Jerónimo Martins, the largest retailer in Poland, to create pots and lids for their new range of fresh soups. This is a significant development as they are the first locally produced chilled soups to launch into the Polish market.
Made entirely from fresh vegetables, all soups within the range are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, and are currently being sold in three flavours – cream of tomato, cream of broccoli and cream of cauliflower, with more varieties expected to be launched in the near future.
Robinson Packaging worked closely with Jerónimo Martins to produce a custom injection moulded 450g pot and lid, made in high clarity PP with in-mould labelling, that was specially developed to meet tough filling and storage conditions. Each soup is filled at a high temperature and the final product is then frozen for distribution.
The first batch of products went on sale on August 10th 2016 into the Jerónimo Martins stores in Warsaw, and over the next six months the number of outlets that will offer the range will gradually increase.
